Here are the best outdoor activities and things to do and see in Vienna including Korallenfarm.at, Grand Autodrom, Spider-Rock XL, tier & wir market, Schoenbrunn Aquarien und Terrarienhaus Zoo, Affenhaus, Waldseilpark Kahlenberg, Black Mamba
Did you accidentally book a trip to Austria? Did you mean to go to Australia? Are you sad because there are no kangaroos around? Fear not: this zoo located in Vienna, Austria has kangaroos! They also have sloths! Sloths are my favorite animal.
Great place for adults and kids. Many activities for kids. The aquariums were the most impressive as the panda of course. The wintertime isn't the best time to visit the zoo though. Some animals were hybernating or hiding.
Really great park to relax and have a good break. Everything you need to relax, enjoy piece of nature in the city. Very big and different. Beautiful in any season and weather. And you can have a nice break for food in the Café with local Ambiente. Enjoy!
Beautiful place for a walk and relaxing. Also places for children. It's more for locals than tourists but if somebody ist looking for parks that it's a good place to visit.
In my opinion the most beautiful christmas market in Vienna. Outside you have nice little houses who offer tea and home crafted things. In one greenhouse you see wonderful Christmas themes made of flowers. In another greenhouse you have live acts on a stage. The cool thing is that you can warm yourself up when staying outside. The decoration is just amazing.
Nice public park. Lots of stuff to do for kids. Has plants from around the world.
Amazing location! Friendly staff. The attention to details is impresiv !
Great miniature model railway and scene of Tyrol in H0 scale. The realistic copies of Towns, skislopes, amusementparks and Trainstations are shrinkt to 1:87 and are all animated, even the rooms switch between day light and night life. Great fun to visit and in the forefront happens to be a Tyrolian foodstall with sausages, bacon and beer.
Best for plant enthusiasts. It's pleasant but a little underwhelming for the average visitor in the heat of July. 4€ entrance fee when I visited. The botanic garden at the same entrance is free. Closes 5.45.
We are family of 4 travelling through Europe in December . Are experience here was great, clean washrooms and toilets. Good facilities for water and waste. Close to the metro station.
Lovely site, great transport links to the city. Very clean facilities and good size pitches. Only improvement suggestion would be a laundry room as the nearest launderette is in the city. Trying a sister Camperstop in Salzburg next.
If you ever wanted to be in the middle of a rainforest with huge butterflies flying around your head, you're right here!
It's definitely worth a visit.
Go there is you Vienna pass is not valid anymore. The cost for the entry is 5 to 6.50euro The place is good, but finding butterflies is difficult in cold days as they hide in hights. It has big variety of butterflies. About 30 minutes are more than enough to take a look of the place.
Super fun for young and old! We had a great time. The only reason why i give 4 stars and not 5 is because of hygene concern (there is a no shoes policy in the whole facility including the bathrooms yaky)
Nice indoor and outdoor playing ground for kids. Bilingual staffs and good food in Restaurant.
Nice place for children. I would highly recommend.
A good place to stay with all the essential facilities. A friendly staff who speak English. A bus stop nearby. Sometimes, however, can be very crowded.
Camping place is fine to spend the night as you are visiting Vienna. Sanitary is clean and modern. Camping places are big enough. We put our tent in a caravan space, as there was a big group of kids on the tent spot. Good service. Public transport to Vienna centre will take you about an hour.
We used this site as a base for or MotorHome.the site was clean. In a MotorHome you do not have to uses the facility's on offer.from what I reviewed they where tiered but in the right usable.to get to Vienna you get the No 92B bus one stop only on to the train purple line into the middle of the city.a 8 Euro travel cards can be purchased from the camp site office.this gives all public transport and some deductions on entry fee.
